Hurried treasure of gold, silver and diamonds estimated to be worth £IR, 000,000 is the fascinating objective of a band of explorers, who are shortly set ting out for Bolivia. Doctor Edgar Sanders says the Jesuits mined- and exported gold and silver to. Europe regularly up to 1767. Aware that they were likely to be banished they continued up to 1778 secreting hoards in one place in the belief that they would be allowed to return. Doctor Sanders says he holds a document revealing the hiding place ot previous diggings. Operations had re yealed-a silver crucifix and a parchment warning that a curse would fall upon anybody proceeding iurther. The workmen declined to ff° °u. Dr, Sanders declared he is certain he is on the right track.
