“A MENACE TO SOCIETY. ’ ’ (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) PALMERSTON N., Jan. 2b. Phyllis Bock, who on Saturday escaped from the local lock-up, was recaptured yesterday and sentenced this morning to twelve months’ imprisonment on a charge of having no lawful visible means of support. Accused created a scene in court and had to be forcibly removed. She had a lengthy record of previous convictions. The police Sergeant dsecribed Bock as a menace to society.
