NORWEGIAN LABOUR GOVERNMENT. MODERATE POLICY PREFERRED. BY CABLE —PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT, OSLO, Jan. 25. Against the advice of M. Lykke, the King has invited the Labourites, the strongest party in the Storthing, to form a Cabinet, and they have consented. Thus Norway’s first Labour Government is due to the King’s initiation. The Premier, however, will mot be the Labour leader, M. Alfred Madsen, who is too deeply compromised with the Soviet, but M. Christopher Horns-, rud, a farmer and vice-chairman of the party. The new Government will contain no Communists, onlv orthodox Labourites, and will be obliged to adhere to a moderate policy.
