LEWES MURDER CONVICTION. BY CABLE—PEESS ASSOCIATION -OOPYEIGUT * LONDON, .Tan. 2D. The question of the reprieve of Rowlands and Driscoll for the murder of the footballer Lewis was mentioned in many Cardiff churches and at numerous street gatherings. A woman knelt, outside the gaol praying for some minutes on Sunday morning. Mrs Edward Rowlands spent, the day distributing petition! forms.
Mr T. P. O’Connor says signatures will soon number a million.
