WATCHES AND CASH. COAT POCKETS EMPTIED. (by telegraph—press association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 21. A wallet, containing £ls in notes and a return boat ticket- to Wellington disappeared from the coat, of a. visiting bowler. W. Fielding, of Hataitai. He had left his coat off practically all day as he was engaged for many hours in the pairs competition. A watch disappeared from the coat of another howler who was playing on St. Albans’ green on Thursday, and a wallet containing about £.l was missed from the Canterbury green.
