DIVORCE PETITIONS
BUSY TIME FOR JUDGES. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPV RIGII'I. Received 12.5 p.m. to-day. SYDNEY, Jan. 5. There were over 1700 divorce petitions in New South Wales last year. Since the war the number of petitions has increased each year, and the time of two judges has been almost, continuously occupied in hearing petitions. At the busiest time three were required.
