VICTORIAN TOURING TEAM. DOMINION VISIT ARRANGED (by TEL EGHAI’H-PRESS ASSOCIATION.) UHIUSTGH UiRIGH, Dec. 30. The Secretary of the Dominion Bowling Association, Air El. W. Wade, has received a cable from Air E. CL Gordner, secretary of the Victorian Bowling Association, -stating that a Victorian party, consisting of 2-0 .bowlers and (five ladies, will arrive by the Manuka about February 13 ana will leave again, by the Alaraana on Aiareh 26. The Dominion Council are preparing an itinerary which will be forwarded to Melbourne by the next outgoing mail.

TIAIARiU, Dec. 30. T-lie finals of tho rinks and pairs competitions in connection ; with, the South Canterbury Bowling Centre’s Christmas Tournament were played today on a sodden green, rain falling intermittently throughout the day. The rinks filial was won by a Timaru rink (Mathewsou, Pro van, Smelli© and -Moyas, skip), who beat Edgeware (Christchurch), 27—IS. The South Canterbury pairs match was won by Ward and Watson (United, Christchurch), who beat Temuka, 30—10. The Timaru pairs competition was won Ib-y Effort and Alorgan, Edge ware (Christohuroh), who beat Aleadowbank (Oamaru), 22—13. The singles final will he played tomorrow. HLAWBRA CLUB 03AIPETITIONS.
