Space bias (been .allotted in a number of steamers, which, are proceeding to England from New Zealand during the next two months for produce from Taranaki, consisting of 103,305 boxes of butter and 132,022 crates- of cheese, which- figures represent 25 per cent, of the -butter shipped tlias-t mouth and of the cheese forwarded in the same period, 110 per cent. While the present allocations are subject to revision conditional on the -Ships’ stowing well 19,681 boxes of butter and 69,635 crates of cheese are -to- be shipped at Fa-tea and 83,844 leave New Plymouth. On the ten overseas vessels leaving New Zealand within this period only one, the Pont Dunedin, will not be taking any produce from Taranaki. This liner will .ship a small quantity from Wellington and Gisborne only.
