BANISHMENT ORDERS.

HON. O. F. NELSON. TWO OTHERS INCLUDED. (by telegraph—press association.) WELLINGTON, Dec. 23. The Prime Minister's office announced this afternoon that the Administrator of Western Samoa, after taking the necessary steps required by the Samoan Amendment Act, 1927, has been authorised by the Governor-Gen-eral iu Council, to require. O'laf Frederick Nelson, Edwin William Gurr and Arthur George .Smyth to depart from Western Samoa.

Nelson ancl Gurr are to remain absent for a period of five years, and Smyth for two years. The necessary orders were made by the Administrator, and were served upon those named to-day.
