SLAVES LIBERATED.
BIG SUM PAID IN 'COMPENSATION BY* CABLE—I'KESS ASSOCI ATION —COPYRIGHT. DELHI, Dec. 18. The Government of Burma has announced that over four thousand slaves were freed last year in the triangle of Kechin country, North province. The sum of £21,000 was paid to owners as compensation.
