FIRST INSTALMENT .COST CANCELLED. BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT .BERLIN, Dec. IS. The Richstag has adopted a motion to cancel the first instalment of the cost of the battleship proposed in the recent programme. it was pointed out that it is unlikely the second instalment will be able to be raised in .1929, and it'might be expected that delays will make the battleship obsolete before it. is completed.—A.P.A. and “Sun.”
