Stanley Baldwin, presiding at til© animal Empire Parliamentary gathering ,announced a delegation similar to that which visited Australia and New Zealand, will visit Canada in 1928. South Africa, which heretofore had been l u lye- warm was developing interest and hoped to send a delegation there also. Mr Ramsay AiaeDonald admitted that although lie had visited every Dominion before the war, his -impressions were now out of da.to, because the war had el tanged everything iundiamentally and almost unconsciously. The old formulae were now impossible. The only bond with the Dominions now was tli,at intangible spiritual thing—our common pride and oar common inheritance. Mr Tan MaoPllierson said that annual Imperial Clouieronees were impossible and. suggested annual parliamentary conferences, representative of the Whole Empire, functioning similar to the preparatory committees at Geneva, bo r tween the plenary Imperial Conferences.
