Referring to the unheralded cornel which mado its appearance in the southern sky oarlv this month, a Hnwera resident (Mr R. Linton) made an original suggestion in conversation with a “Hawent Star” reporter to-day as a means of solving the problem a.-, to the christening of the visitor for future releiriine. Mr Linton gave the opinion that, a,s the appearance of the comet ami the introduction of the davaght .saving principle were separated lvv a brief period only, -it would he apMnpriatc in naming the comet to i n the word Kiiley, <>•• some such term which would associate it with tine much discussed measure.
