GENEROUS DONATION.
£IOO FOR PATEA HOSPITAL. “I desire to give- £IOO as- a nucleus for a children’s ward in the Patea Public Hospital, as I feel that it is a longfelt want,” stated a- letter from Mi's. Catherine Honeyfield, of Egmont View, Patea, received at yesterday’s monthly meeting of the Patea Hospital Board. Members of the expressed appreciation of the generous donation, and on the motion of Mr. Back, seconded by Mr! Scown, it was decided to forward a letter of thanks to Mrs. Honeyfield and inform her that the board would keep the object in view.
