Royal Acre finished in front of Glengaiulf over four- fur.ongs in oLsecs. Fermanagh, was given a round of good pace work, Troilus being allotted similar work. Bonogne. ran half” a mile by himself in 53secs.

The Lani b was responsible for a good mile, being joined by Silent at the five funion,a post. He ran bis mile out in 145. ; Reremoana, by himself, galloped four furlongs in 50seos. Bright Glow and Eka were restricted to strong pace work, and Paitona, who has freshened up nicely, was not atskpd to go against the watch. _ ' Lady Desmond and Euphonium, went seven furlongs, finishing together in 1.314. Silver Rule, Golden Flower and a number of other two-year-olds were exercised, on the youngsters’ track. Royal Flight, Green Acre and Kawakina finished in that order in a halfmile sprint in Shsecs. Mountain Bell, the hurdle mare, siicwed ,groat dash in poking her nose in front of Black Odin and* Pop Off in a flutter over three furlongs, run in 38secs Poteen, ridden by Chaplin, was given a round of the schooling hurdles, jumpincr satisfactorily. Silvermine, in charge of his trainer, left bv train this morning for Auckland. His mission is the Railway Handicap and other spirant races at the Christmas meeting. During J. Brown’s absence Stan McCormac will superintend the rust of that trainer’s team. S Reid’s apprentice, J.
