Bowling for Queensland, Hornibrook took two for 25. Oxenham two for 64, and Hurwood five for 50. In tlie .second iuninnrs they lost two wickets' for 22 runs (Everett 10). Tlie weather was fine and the wiiehet good. With only three hours to nlav. New South Whiles had "little chance of retrieving the position. and despite the good fight by the tail-enders. was beaten on the first innings. Leiss than half an hour remained when they f ollowed on for the second knock. A feature of the match was Hurwood’s consistently destructive bowlingM.C.C. TOUR OF AFRICA.
