DAIRY PRODUCE.
MARKET CONDITIONS REVIEWED. The Farmers’ Co-op. has received the following market* report from its London representative, dated October 6 : . Butter. —A very quiet tune has again been experienced on the London market, and with Danish quotations sagging downwards New Zealand prices have weakened to the extent o. about 2s to 3s* per cwt On Monday Danish opened at 182 s f.o.b but b\ Tuesday, with firm oilers difticult to obtain it soon became apparent that Germany was in the market and prices have since moved to 190 s Lo-h., with several shippers cleared. The weakness referred to in New Zealand is principally in stored butters he.d by second-hand sellers since early in the vear, but holders of recent arrivals are still offering only sparingly, the general feeling «till being that any blitter of good quality will be badly wanted during the next few weeks. Cheese.—The market is firm owing to small arrivals from New Zealand durum- the next month, added to the fact that Canada is shipping less than last vear. So far. however, sales o. New Zealand at 105 s to 103 s this week have been on fSie very slow side.
