MISSING MAN’S BODY FOUND. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) PALMERSTON N., Dec. 1. Alfred Thornton, aged 23, employed by road contractors at the Massey Agricultural College, who was missing yesterday afternoon, was discovered this morning hanging over the bank of the Manawatu River with a strap round his neck. MOTORIST FOUND DEAD. OAMARIT, Dec. 1. Edward Hedges, a married man with no family, fellmonger, was found dead under his car at the foot of the bank on Beach Road North, Oaniaru, this morning. Apparently the car got out of control. There was no one with him at the time.
