WORKERS’ COMPENSATION.
OPERATIONS OF N.S.W. ACT. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION -COPYRIGHT. Received 11 a.m. to-day. SYDNEY, Dec. 1. The first annual report of the Workers’ Compensation Commission, tabled in the Assembly, states that of 50.000 eases of injury notified by workers during the year ended June last, all except 1.37 per cent, were settled by agreement, the balance being _ determined by the commission at public hearings. The cost of administration of the Act for the period from July to the end * of December, 1926, was 1.3 per rent, of the premium.
