EXTENSIVE IMPROVEMENTS
FOR TROTTING CLUB’S COURSE. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 30. The Auckland Trotting Club has decided to instal an electric “tote” and to erect a new members’ stand at Alexander Park, Epsom. The total cost is not to exceed £40,000. A special committee consisting of Messrs J. Rowe, C. J. Schnauer, T. Buxton, and the club’s architect, Mr N. Wade, has been set up to make an inspection of such totalisators now in use in the North Island. It is expected that these improvements vcill be available for the cup meeting in 1928.
