LODGE OKAIAWA.

INSTALLATION OF OFFICERS

A public installation meeting of Lodge Okaiawa 1.0.0. F. took placerecently in the Town Hall. Brethern of Opunake, Eltham, and Huia, also sisters of Kiwi Lidge were present. D.D.G.M. Bro. J. Hja.rrop and suite were in attendance and installed the following elected and appointed officers: N.G., B-ro. J. Barclay; V.G., Biq. J. Ores hie; R. 0., Bro. W. Walsdorf; F.S., Bro. A. G. Robertson; Ties., Bro. W. Williams; Warden, Bro. Rudkin; Conductor, Bro. L.S.N.G., Bro. Newman; R.L.V.G., Smillie; R.L.N.G., Bro.! Soothill; Bro. D. Johnston; L.S.V.G., Bro. E. Doyle; R.S.S., Bro. Warner; L.S.S., Bro. J, O’Dowd; J. G. Bro. Butler; Chaplain, Bro. Thomas. During the evening Piaist. D.D.G.M. Bro-. Trim, on -behalf of South Taranaki lodges presented Hr. A. G. Robertson with a jewel .in -recognition of his services -as D.D.G.M. during the past two years. In making the presentation, Bro. Trim -spoke of the great progress lodges throughout South Taranaki had made during the time Bro. Robertson -held office.

Bro Robertson replying, thanked the lodges for the presentation and said tbe little he had done had been a pleasure 'to him /and would always give his services for the good of the order. N.G. Bro. Barclay thanked the members for placing him in charge of the lodge and welcomed the visitors ami members of adjoining lodges. D.D.G.M. Bro. J. Harrop and Hast. D.D.G.M. Bro. P. Trim replied. Supper and a social brought a very pleasant evening to a close.
