NEW GUINEA GOLD TO BE EXEMPTED. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 9.10 a.m. to-day. SYDNEY, Nov. 29. Following upon the. New Guinea gold miners’ •decision to divert their gcold shipments from Australia, the Federal Parliament is passing legislation to ex empt such gold from the heavy tax imposed on it by- the Federal Tax Commissioner.
