DAIRY INDUSTRY.
LATEST LONDON QUOTATIONS.
PRICES WELL MAINTAINED,
The advices received this morning by Mr. Geo. H. Buckeridge from Messrs. H. A. Lane and Go., Ltd., show that cheese is in a good position with prices ruling at 100 sto 102 s and a steady market. Butter is quoted at 170 sto 174 s with, a quiet market. Tha position with cheese is very satisfactory because from now until probably die end of May there will be very little on the London market except New Zealand output, and there has been a shortage in Canadian and the Stales. It i® a very satisfactory condition and looks .to promise a good period for Lie next Jew months.
