Raymond Emanuel, charged with being intoxicated while in charge of a motor car was fined by Air AlcKean, S.AI., £SO and his driver’s license Avas suspended for 12 months. ■FIREMEN FINED FOR THEFT. WELLINGTON, Nov. 23. A drunken escapade in which three firemen from Port Harding were involved was ventilated at the Alagistrate’s Court to-day, when Thomas Finnagan, aged 25, Robert Joseph Millar, aged 1.7, and James Joseph Kehoe, aged 23, pleaded guilty to being drunk yester-' day on the Pipitea wnarf. All three, however, denied having stolen a case of goods valued at £2 ss, saying that they had no recollection of. it. Alillar made the same plea when charged with assaulting a storeman. The pleas all proved ineffective, each being fined £2 fur theft and Alillar £1 for assault, All were convicted and discharged for drunkenness.
