ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
NO SIGN OF AIISSING AIEN. (by telegraph—press association.) AUCKLAND, Nov. 22. Latest advice from the parties searching for William Williams and James Bowman, of Takapuna, who have not been seen since their yacht capsized oil Saturday afternoon, states that no trace has been discovered. The opinion was expressed by one of the searchers that it was impossible that either man could have survived. DIED FROM EFFECTS OF GAS POISONING. AUCKLAND, Nov. 22. Mrs. Janet Morrison, an aged woman, who was admitted to the Auckland Hospital on Sunday in a critical condition as the result of gas poisoning, died to-night. Her husband, James Morrison, is reported to be improving. BODY HANGING IN WHARE. PALMERSTON N., Nov. 22. Alfred Godfrey, an old age pensioner 70 years of age, was found hanging in his wha.ro in Napier Road l at noon today. He had not been seen out since Saturday at midday.
