DAIRY PRODUCE. LONDON QUOTATIONS. Mr W. H. Kent has received from Messrs A. J. Mills and Co., the following cable from London, dated November 17: Butter —Market firm, with an improvement in demand. New Zealand butter is selling at 17Ss first, 174 s to 176 s first grade, 172 sto 174 s stored. The market has advanced on account of 30,000 boxes of Port Caroline butter, more or less water damaged, not being available for sale at present, thus making a temporary shortage. We expect a good demand to continue, but are doubtful if it will be with improving prices, although Continental butter supplies are now small and their markets firm.

. There is an improvement in demand for cheese. N.Z. finest 995, firsts 98s. Canadatian matured is fetching 100 s to 102 s, with current make at 90s to 98s. BANK OF ENGLAND RETURNS.
