Mr Gregor McGregor, the judge of all classes 01 purebred sneep spoke in laudatory terms of the type and quality of the exhibits in every section, more particularly soj as regards Southdowms and Border Lei testers. The exhibition of sheep of such a standard was an education to the public, and if for that reason alone the Association justified its existence. He would like, however, to point out tq- exhibitors, generally the desirability of aiming at evenness in the “pairs” classes. The cutre.s in these classes were not well matched and difficult to judge in consequence. CLYDESDALES. In tine Clydesdale class the aged entires were good useful sorts, remarked the judge. Mr A. L. Bremer. The champion colt wa.s a nice animal, showing plenty of style. LIGHT HAENESS HOESES. 111 the light harness horses the classes were not very .strong, one horse being outstanding, remarked the judge, Air J. Brice. Amongst the harness ponies there were very good entries, some of the animals haing very fine.
