WANT SIX MILLIONS
BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. NEW YORK, Nov. 15. A message from Pontiac, Michigan, states that 2000 stockholders in the old Lincoln Motor Car Company are suing Mr. Henry Ford for 6.000,000 dollars, alleging that he failed to keep a. verbal promise to buy their stock when he bought the company from the Federal Court receiver in 1922. The suit was filed by Mr. Henry Lei and and his son, Mr. Wilfred belaud. president and vice-president respectively of the original Lincoln firm, who were granted power of attorney by the stockholders to proceed against Mr. Ford. Complainants alleged that Mr. Ford bought out belauds after a period of business degression and agreed to co-operate with the elder Leland in reorganising the corporation, but instead it is alleged that Mr. Ford bought out other shareholders, giving him control of the ompany, and he then repudiated all agreements, both with Lelands and ■vith the minority of stockholders.
