RUMOUR OF HIS ASSASSINATION. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, Nov. 15. The British United Press correspondent at Moscow reports that Trotsky and Zinovieff were expelled from the Communist Party, and Kameneff, Rakovsky and Smilga from the Central Executive. The decision followed a long conference of the Central Executive Control Committee, which is the supreme body controlling the conduct and ethics of the party’s members. BERLIN, Nov. 15.

Unconfirmed reports through Warsaw and Petrograd state that Trotsky has been assassinated.
