DOMINION RECORD.

EGMONT SPRING SHOW.

A record for the Dominion in a particular section was shown by the president o fthe Egmont A. and P. Association (Mr S. C. Mr Tonks remarked that at the recent Palmerston North Show a total entry of 151 pigs _ had been claimed as a record for New Zealand, but the entries for the Egmont Show had reached 156 ,this being five in excess of the record claimed for the Manawatu exhibition. The number-re--ceived was more than double that of last year, when the entries totalled 77. While in some of the other .sections the entries were down, there was evidence that very keen competition would rule, and the indications were for a highly successful exhibition, continued .the president.
