PERSONAL ITEMS.

Old residents in South Taranaki will regret to near of the death of Mrs. F. Pierard, which took place at Wellington on Friday, following an operation. Deceased at one time lived at Hawera and Norman uy. She had latterly resided in Wellington for a, number of years. Deceased was held in high esteem by a wide circle of friends during her residence in this district.

A London Press Association message states that Sir James Parr gave a luncheon to Dr. Sir Harry Lindo Ferguson, of Dunedin, and Dr. Victor Bonuey, an eminent. British surgeon, who is going to New Zealand. The latter will attend the annual Medical Conference.
