FIVE OF THE CREW LOST. EXPLOSION IN - A STORM. ifY CABLE—PRES? ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON. Oct. 31. The .steamer Fortuna, from Liverpoo 1 , carrying provisions for whaling whips, burned and foundered in the Irish hurricane. Five of the crew were lost, but the captain and 19 were saved. An explosion occurred and the ship was .soon afire from stem to stern. One .lifeboat capsized, but -the other vats safely launched.
