MOTOR CYCLIST INJURED.

found on highway. Picked up in an unconscious condition on the Main South Road near Inaha at about- three o’clock yesterday afternoon, Edward Bradbury, a youth 17 years of age, was later admitted to the* Hawera Hospital suffering from slight concussion and facial abrasions. He recovered consciousness later in the evening, though he was unable to give a. clear account- of the accident which led to his injury. It appears that- while riding his motor cycle the youth experienced a skid, as the front wheel tyre of the machine was partially forced off, though no'sign of a collision was evident when he was found by Mr. Des Forges, of Opunake. who was motoring to Hawera. ’The motorist -secured attention for Bradbury from Dr. Davies, of Manaia, the youth subsequently being taken to Hawera. He was reported this morning to he making satisfactory progress.*
