INVERCARGILL CLUB. Th(j annual report of the Invercargill Club records that: “Not only did we field three elevens regularly, but attendances at practices were consistently good, and as a result the club won the first grade premiership, tied with Union Club for the second grade, and won tliQ third grade competition. Our senior eleven was undefeated throughout the year. During the : lengthy history of our club this record has rarely been equalled.” The value of honorary members is stressed, the report, stating that: “The club is especially fortunate in its honorary members, who are at all times very willing to assist us financially and otherwise. ’ ’
