The trouble between the Railway Department and its employees at Islington extended when the moulders employed by Mason and Cox, at Soutnwark, ceased Work. Jbt is stated that they were instructed to- do- so by the Trades Hall disputes committee, which is determined to stop the supply of castings reaching the Department. The chier railway commissioner said that the trouble arose over the fact that one of the two moulders dismissed Who precipitated the crisis insisted that a fellow workman should accompany Idm to the office of the head of the department, when he was summoned before that officer in regard to his output of work. It was a matter to be settled by the man concerned and the head of the Department and was not the concern of the third party.
