* BRITAIN'S NEW 'PLANE. THE HIGHEST YET. LONDON, October 9. The Air Ministry is now: testing a Hawker-Rolls Royce 'plane, which is claimed to be the highest climbing and fastest machine yet constructed. It will carry a iull-sized torpedo and is reported to be able to lilt three and a half tons, and to be- capable of reaching ;l height of four miles, at which it is practically invisible. Lt has a speed of 125 miles an hour when loaded.
