ALTERATION OF RIDING BOUNDARY. IVJOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Council of the County of Haw era, held on Saturday, the 10th day of September, 1027, the following resolution was passed:— In pursuance of the powers vested in it ,in that behalf by “The Counties Act, 1920, * * arul amendments thereto, and of all other powers in that behalf it enabling the Council of the County of Hawera hereby resolves, by way of Special Order, as follows — 1. That the portion of the present division boundary between the Hawera and Ararata Ridings of the County of Hawera described as. commencing from the north-eastern boundary of the Normanby Town District along the railway lino to the southern boundary of the Elthani County be and the same is'hereby revoked. 2. That the division boundary between the said Hawera and Ararata Ridings shall commence from the southern boundary of the Eltham County at the junction of Onewhai and Boylan Roads, then along the middle of Boylan Road in a southerly direction to the junction of Boylan and Austin Roads, thence down the middle of Austin Road in a south-easterly direction to its junction w r ith Ivetemarae Road (via the deviation known as Brett’s Corner), thence along the middle of Ivetemarae Road in a south-westerly direction to its junction with the Normanby Town District, thence along the north-eastern and south-eastern boundary of that Town District, tlicncc along the Wel-lington-New Plymouh railway line in a southerly direction to its junction with the Ha'wera Borough at Glover Road. d. That this Special Order shall come into force and be effective as from Ist day of April, 1928. And notice is hereby further given that a meeting of the said Council will be held at the Council Chambers, at Hawera, on SATURDAY, the sth day of November, .1927, at 10.30 a.m., at which the said resolution will be submitted for confirmation.
