HIDES AND SKINS.

The Farmers’ Co-operative Organisation Society reports as under with re-o-ard to its Wanganui sale of Aides, skins and tallow: The usual monthly sale of hides at AVanganui was held on October 5. There was the usual attendance of buyers, and competition was keen throughout the sale. Sheepskins'.—Damp, salted and green, 8s to 11s 0d; pelts, salted, Is--6d to 3s. Hides. —Ox, heavy 9d to 9fd, medium 9d to 9id. light 83d to 9Jd; cow, heavy 8-Id to 9d, medium 81 d to 9£d, light 9d to 10-gd; yearlings, 8d to 10id. Tallow.—ln casks, 23s 6d to 26s per cwt; in tins, 21s 6d to 23s 6d.
