MYSTERY FLIGHT.
GERMAN AVIATORS’ SECRET PREPARATIONS.

The trans-Atlantic, seaplane came down at Schellingwoude after a flight of 135 miles. It was then revealed that it was a German mystery flight, for which long preparation had been made secretly on an isolated island in the North Sea, the purpose being to wipe out the Bremen Europa disappointments. The machine used was a Junker 1)1230. It was piloted by Loose and Starke, and carried also a wireless operator and a mechanic. It rose successfully. The route planned was via Lisbon, the Azores. Harbour Grace, to New York. It is reported that, the Severn Aviation Company and the HamhurgArnerika Line were the joint hackers.
