MOTORIST PINED POR NEGLIGENCE. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) CHRISTCHURCH, .Sept. 30. fWe cannot have cyclists driven down by motorists, ’ ’ said the Magistrate, Mr. Mosley, to-day, in fining Wil-J Mam Joseph Ives £4 and costs for ligent driving. The evidence showed that Ives tried to pass two cyclists by driving between them and a tram, resulting in one being knocked over.
