£IOO FINE IMPOSED. (BY TEL KG RA PH PRKSS ASSOCIATION. I WELLINGTON, Sept. 26. Fritz Hugo Dolling, hairdresser, pleaded guilty to using his shop at I’etone as a common gaming house. The police stated that the premises were raided this morning. The records showed that accused had been carrying on betting for some -ears, and had taken over £3OO worth of bets on Saturday and £SO worth this morning, before the raid. The accused was fined £75 in 1922 for a similar offence and had appealed successfully against a conviction. The Magistrate imposed a fine of £IOO.
