LONDON, Sept. 25. “The Tdmos” says- that the Government has granted the late Coer© Company £50.000, with £314,000 for subsequent years in connection with the main service which begins oira October 15 with aeroplanes, tlya latter using the Cape Verde-Fernando route. The carriage of passengers may isubeequentilv be authorised. The company is providing repair and rescue (stations throughont the route. It is. also stipulated that aeroplanes must either be equipped with wireless useable after a forced descent or provided with carrier pigeons. Letters, which at present take 25 davs to Buenos Ayres from France, should be : delivered in eight, under the new gerivce. —“Times.”
