FINAL SHOWING TO-NIGHT To-night will present the iinal opportunity fox' witnessing the season s performance by the Hawera Amateui Operatic Society. For four successive evenings Opera House audiences, whicn have tilled the theatre to the doors, have been enthused with the ciever display' given by the company in presenting “The Arcadians-’’ -*■, e van scenes of sweet Arcadv the thrilling spectacle as the simple wood dwellers flee in honor as the great white bud bears down upon them, the hectic excitement among a huge race cion during the progress of the big event at Askwood, the complications which beset the worldly wise Smith m keep ing to the straight and narrow path of truth, and the irresistible humour of the doleful jockey, Doody, are but a few of the many features which evoke applause from the first to the final curtain. The performance last evening was legarded as the best which has been given by the talented combination, and with the repose and confidence they have gained during the week to assist them, the p. a vers may be looked to this evening to pro vice a fitting conclusion to one of the most successful series of exhibitions in the history of the society.
