LONDON WOOL.SALES. ay OARI.B -PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT. Received 11.10 a.m. to-day. LONDON, Sept. 14. At the wool sales .there was a good selection of Merinos, principally super spinners’ sorts, a good lot of greasy crossbred, and a splendid selection of slipes. There was keen general competition. the opening rates being fully maintained. New Zealand sales were : H. 8., top price 14i|d, average 14-Jd ; Mimilmu, IV )d- and 17d
TALLOW SALES. Received 11.10 a.m. to-day. LONDON, Sept. 14. At the tallow sales 1381 casks were offered and 643 sold. The prices were .unchanged to sixpence advance. Fine mutton 38s per cwt., medium 34s fine beef 395, and medium 33s 6d. —A.P.A. and “Sun.”
