MANAWATU SPRING SHOW.

CLOSING OF ENTRIES. The attention of teachers is drawn to the fact that the entries for the schools section for the big Metropolitan Spring Show which is to be held at Palmerston North on Ist., 2nd., and 3rd.. November next, will finally close on Saturday, October 1, at 1 p.m. Schedules will be posted free to any address on application to the secretary Box 85, Palmerston North. The general sections which include Lome cookery, art needlework, photography, etc., will close on October 8, while the entries for the ring competitions, horses, purebred live 6tock, will be taken np to Saturday October 15. The prize list this year is a very generous and attractive one and provides classes for all breeds of cattle, horses sheep, and pigs, besides _ the domestic sections. Intending exhibitors who have not as yet received one are advised to make application to to the secretary right a wav.
