The Druids’ social and dance will be held to-morrow evening in the Foresters’. Hall. A happy reference to the world-wade popularity of the old favourite Scotch song of Robbie Burns, “Should auld acquaintance be forgot,” was made by Mr Simpson at the Scottish Society’s evening last, night. He recalled the fact that at a recent w'orld-wide gathering of representatives of all nations, West and East, these immortal words formed the only song that, all could .join in, feeling they made an universal appeal.
