NEW OWNERS FOR MINE
MEN TO' BE GIVEN A SHARE. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION- COPYRIGHT. SYDNEY, Sept. 10. A company has been formed by two of the leading smelting proprietoins of Australia and a number of mining ’magnates to* acquire the Mount Morgan mine, for which they are willing to pay £IOO,OOO. The mine is to he reopened, but only certain workings will, be exploited. The miners will he asked to accept reduced wages, but will be given a share in the mine.
