GOVERNOR INDICTED.
ALLEGED ATTEMPTED BRIBERY

At Indianapolis, Governor jockson, of Indiana, and two other officials were indicted by a grand jury for alleged attempted bribery and conspiracy to”commit a felony, and Major Duvall, ( of Indianapolis, was indicted for a'riegedly violating the Corrupt Practices Act. , The indictment® grew out ot a long Epnies of court actions which involved Governor Jackson’s predecessor, <exGorernor McCray, who has just completed serving a term in prison, following conviction for embezzlement while in office. The revelation are said to have been made bv high officials of the Ku KTux Klan, who are now also serving a term in prison a-s the ros\i' .t of a. mxiixlei charge which led the grand jury to start the investigation which iha.s ended in the indictment.
