G The transfer of St. Andrew’s historic Anglican Cathedral, after long negotiations, front George Street to a site in Macquarie Street now occupied by the Mint and District Court, now .seems assured, the Government having s’ened an agreement with the church authorities covering the transfer. In addition to supplying the new site, the Government will pay the cathedral authorities £500,000 as compensation.
