CHURCH OF ENGLAND SOCIAL

(From Our Own Correspondent.)

On Friday evening last the Anglican Church social, which was held in the hall, was a great -success, the evening ( being .spent mostly in dancing. The following gave items-: Miss Lichtwark, recitation; Misses Elmes, vocal duet; Miss Prestlan-d, song; all of which were heartily encored. During tihe supper interval the Rev. H. W. Monaghan thanked those who were, responsible for the social, and hoped that it would he the first of many. He reminded his audience that the Church Flower Show was to be held this month, and that there would lie a farhi produce stall, and he hoped all who could would contribute. Mr. Jack Savage acted as M.C., and the music was supplied by various people among the dancers. • -
